The Africa Rally 2025
Three weeks of unbridled exploration, life changing experiences, and friends who will be with you for a lifetime. An epic start, half way, and finish line party, and plenty of opportunity for mischief in between. That’s right folks – this mobile menagerie of motoring mayhem is back!
The Africa Rally 2025 will run between 5th July 2025 and 26th July 2025 and as always, we only have capacity for 50 teams on the roster.

In 2025 the Africa Rally will once again run two simultaneous route options:
The Challenger Route
This route takes teams from South Africa to Kenya, featuring key highlights of:
Botswana’s Wildlife (including White Rhino, Elephants, and Giraffes)Botswana’s Makgadikgadi Salt Pan (best place to see the stars in the night sky anywhere on earth)The World Famous Victoria Falls in ZambiaLake MalawiMount Kilimanjaro in TanzaniaThe Great Migration in the Serengeti, TanzaniaLake Victoria in Kenya
The Discovery Route
This route mimics the Challenger Route up until the half way party in Malawi, before heading South to eSwatini. On the route you can expect to witness:

Each year our illustrious HQ Team do their best to ensure that new sponsors are brought onboard, and that teams are treated to as many additional goodies as possible, however as a very minimum your Entry Fee will get you:

When are we in Malawi
Both routes will start from the same place, at the same time, and will cost the same amount. They are both roughly 4,500kms, and are both of a similar difficulty. The Half Way Party in Senga Bay, on Tuesday 15th July 2025 is the point where the routes diverge.
