The facility is located 5.5 miles from Zomba City, towards the direction of Blantyre along M1 Road. The facility offers accommodation, restaurant, conference, outside catering, bar services and 24-hour front desk service. The facility has a beautiful landscape that adds to its beauty. Whether you wish to relax and unwind or find a base from which to explore your favourite tourism sites, or you want to hold business meetings, you are sure to find Hill Springs the perfect place to be.

It is a non-smoking facility fitted with smoke detectors and firefighting equipment. All exit routes are marked including fire assembly point. It also provides access to the disabled.

The location is very convenient to the public and customers travelling by road. This road connects to the 2 airports and to the lake. Visitors are well guided by an outstanding entrance feature. From the M1 road visitors pass through 2 security gates and the street is paved and all the areas around the facility if not covered by grass.

The facility provides secure parking space for more than 30 cars within the inner gates and many more vehicles behind the first gate where there are other facilities under construction. There are no slippery roads, no potholes, no paddles, no mud no dust, a perfect place for everyone.

In case of power cuts, there are 2 gensets on standby and solar powered lights in different locations of the facility. There are water reservoirs that would last a few days if outside supply is interrupted.

At Hill Springs, our vision is to provide the finest hospitality services for our valued customers both local and international. Health and safety of our guests and staff is paramount and hence the facility complies with all Covid-19 preventive measures.

The facility is well fortified with a security fence and is guarded by qualified security personnel backed by G4S and other security agents.

Hill Springs is run by a team of 28, working full time and they are our best asset.

We have experienced and trained team, motivated and enthusiastic that create a platform for an entertaining, exciting and enjoyable experience to our guests.

The Lodge has 10 executive self-contained rooms of various sizes to suit your pocket. 3 more double rooms will be ready in a few weeks’ time. We have single and double deluxe. Some rooms are also in a setting convenient for a couple and their children. The rooms have noise-proof windows and are individually designed and furnished with everything you would need to have a relaxing and pleasant stay. There are no fees for early check in nor late checkout subject to availability.

All residents have the option of room service. All rooms have shower while others have bath as well. There is air conditioning, mini fridge for refreshments, tea & coffee facilities, work desk for business guests, flat screen TVs with satellite channels for your entertainment. There is internal phone call system to make room service easier. The bed linen is luxurious, inviting, modern and cosy. It is clean, smooth, and comfortable, no breeding grounds for bed bugs. There is complementary breakfast and WI-FI.

Hill Springs has five rooms available to hire for conferences or meetings. There are 2 conference halls and 3 boardrooms. There is a conference hall that can take 100, another 35 and boardrooms for 10, 8 and 4.  They all have air conditioning. If requested a PA system and projector can be hired at additional cost. On request, lunch and refreshments can be included within conference packages. We require 12-24 hours to deliver on a purchase order for conference unlike accommodation where the rooms are always ready if they are not occupied or reserved. We allow Local Purchase Orders from reputable Organizations for a period of 30 days from the date of the invoice.

Hill Springs kitchen cooks a variety of high quality, delicious dishes covering local and international cuisine. Food is available throughout the day for any guests, so there will always be time to enjoy a meal around your day’s plans. In the morning, our varied and plentiful breakfast buffet is available for in house guests to enjoy.

Our restaurant sits approximately 22 people with tables ranging from 2-8. For larger parties that require more seats, arrangements can be made in advance.

On request the restaurant can be hired for corporate functions, Personal meal requests from guests may also be accepted.

Our outdoor bar serves a range of popular beers, wines, spirits and refreshments. Situated in view of our beautiful gardens, it's perfect for casual drink but also available to hire for private functions.

​Our bar is popular with quail meat that is available throughout the year.

Flat-screen, satellite TVs broadcast the latest sports to make it a great place to relax after a busy day’s work, or to spend the weekend.

Outside catering is a fast-growing part of our business catering for your required needs from graduation ceremonies, weddings, birthday and dinner parties, conferences and any corporate or private events.

If you are a business with a venue but kitchen, partner with us to complement your services. We will bring the food to you and your guests won’t have to go elsewhere looking for food.

When our venue is not free, our valued customers who love our mouth-watering food can get us to bring the food to them. ​
